When the Weight of Success Feels too Heavy
You are the fixer, the dependable one, the high-flyer. But behind the capability is a nervous system stuck in survival mode. Individuals I work with are used to managing a great deal on their own and feel:
Their Body is in Protest
They often reach out when their nervous system is signalling 'no more'. They have poor sleep, wake through the night on high alert, are prone to headaches, migraines and digestive issues.
The Weight of Their Standards
Often the standards they hold for themselves have led to their success and also leave them feeling trapped in unsustainable, often rigid patterns due to fear of failure or being found out as a 'fraud' or 'imposter.'
Reaching for Help when Hyper Independent Feels Risky
They feel uncomfortable showing vulnerability or feeling seen, seeking help for someone who is hyper independent therefore feels riskier than doing it themselves.
So we have a dilemma - standards are unsustainable, the body can't take anymore and seeking support feels risky. I offer evidence based therapies that go at your pace, can support you develop alternative, sustainable patterns in daily life (CBT) and achieve deep nervous system healing (EMDR).
Whether you're navigating trauma, burnout, or chronic stress, you don’t have to navigate this alone, I can help.

My Experience

My own lived experience of being self reliant and the 'strong one' has led me to specialise in this space. I know that self-sufficiency and independence is often a survival strategy, not just a personality trait.
I have spent 14 years in the NHS and private practice learning how to help individuals like you soften these patterns without losing your ambition, your strength, or your integrity.

TESTIMONIALS
"Eve has changed my life - though I'm sure she would argue that I've changed my life, she's only supported me in the process. I do things with ease now that seemed impossible a couple of years' ago. And I have confidence that I will concur the things I still find challenging. I no longer live in permanent fight or flight, and most days my OCD and PTSD feels manageable. I would never have believed that I'd be here, finding such joy in life, with where I was at in 2022. Eve helped me find, hold onto, and achieve hope. I will never know how to properly thank her."
